The story of as they say of this mucking amazing spot starts when a 16-year-old Charly apprenticed a German master baker. Later together with his wife Jaqui and eventually daughters Alex, Dani, and Roch, they came to transform this old Jewish bookstore into one of the world’s most beloved places for the sweetest of treats.

With Charly’s passing in 2012, the place has continued as a tribute to his immense legacy, with all members of staff singing his praises and attributing their continued success to hard work built on top of his foundations.
