Mogodu in the North

I’m Nick Hamman, and I’m on a culinary journey through Mzansi, one magic meal at a time. Today, I’m visiting one of the most requested spots I’ve had from you guys in a while—Mogodu in the North—to pay tribute to the local classic that is iNyama Yenhloko, or for those who don’t know… cow’s head.

This spot out in the north of Johannesburg specializes in the vibrant culture of South African cuisine, preparing all of the proud classics, including, of course, Mogodu, stews, hardbody chicken, and so much more. I can’t sing this spot’s praises enough and am already thinking about coming back.

The last time I tried out this food, you guys let me know that I forgot to order some essentials and you warned me about the chili.
