Mambo’s Storage & Home Town Square at Newmarket

I’m Nick Hamman and yes, that is indeed cherry wrapped in bacon and you’re damn right it was delicious. I indulged in this recently at an afternoon out that I had at Mambos at Castle Gate in Pretoria on an awesome Saturday out they hosted together with my friends at Eskort. Myself and a few fellow foodies like the king of flame Mr Braai Guy are travelling around to celebrate the opening of some new Mambos stores around South Africa.

The new store is in Midrand at The Mushroom Farm Retail Centre, opening today, and the Braai activation is at New Market in Alberton on Saturday.

To many Mambos is a household name, but as they expand it might be worth me mentioning that they’re the plug for basically anything. As a dad-to-be I found myself incredibly interested in all of the kids’ toys they had on offer, from pretty great prices that I’m definitely going to be stocking up on ahead of the arrival of my little one next year. They’re also the one-stop shop to ensure your braai at home is properly kitted, so make sure to come and check them out.

The next stop is going to be on Saturday. It’s their birthday bash and the new store in Alberton, Johannesburg is going big. If you want food, music, giveaways, great vibes and epic deals, it would be incredible to have you there!
