Market Kokoro

I’m Nick Hamman and I’ve got the plug on the latest Korean food experience in South Africa. KOTRA, the Korean Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs and Market Kokoro have teamed up with Pick n Pay to bring more than 80 authentic Korean products to SA, with a full K-food experience at Pick n Pay On Nicol until the end of December.
Start with gyeran ppang (계란빵, gye-ran ppang) soft egg bread and tteokbokki (떡볶이, tteok-bo-kki) chewy spicy rice cakes. Inside, you’ll find a mini Seoul section loaded with Korean sauces, noodles, snacks, chilli pastes and milk sodas. You can even buy ramen and have it cooked for you on the spot, plus fresh gimbap (김밥, gim-bap) prepared by Mr Danny from Market Kokoro.
