I’m Nick Hamman form Hammy Eats and today I’m out deep in the western parts of Joburg visiting the new talk of the town, Cafe Lux run by Yusuf Dindar a fully Halal establishment also available for order through my chosen delivery platform, Mr D. I came here together with friend Marion Kate from Global diplomacy to discuss season two of our gastro-diplomacy series and among our spread we chowed down on The Lux Burger, brioche bun, homemade smash patty signature sauce and these cheesy, saucy, spicy fries. This spot is family run in the truest sense of the word. Mom cooks delicious dishes like the chicken curry we tried, the daughter bakes both sweet and savory treats and together they’re working incredibly hard to put themselves on the map.
