Ekaya Kwera Kwera
Bafana Bafana Street Mataffin Mbombela
I’m Nick Hamman from hammy eats and I’m looking for the best plate in South Africa and today I’ve found something extra special, Ekaya Kwera Kwera near Mbombela stadium in Mpumalanga, the land of the rising sun. This is classic Mzansi, the pots making the things to be done, burning outside on coal from wood, steaming plates of pap being stirred at served at half or full clutch and I’m not saying that this is THAT Beyonce, but I also don’t know that its not. Regardless I could tell why locals are crazy in love with this irreplaceable joint. Talking value for money, everything you see me eat in this video totaled at R130 and among the offering I chose mogodu, ulusi, afval, tripe or however you want to describe, this was tender, fatty and soaked in its own delicious juices. The chicken was spiced with great flavours, juicy, proper and the kind that will have you eating right to and sometimes even past the bone. The pap was great, the veggies were delicious and overall this was one for the books. I would highly recommend checking out Ekaya for yourself and to get the details head to hammyeats.co.za now. Make sure to let me know in the comments where I’m going next
