Joubert en Seuns Padstal
N 4 Highway Schoemanskloof
I’m Nick Hamman from Hammy Eats and I’m looking for the best, freshly squeezed orange juice in South Africa and on account of the bokke winning the night before and brandy still seeping from my pores, I not only wanted, but needed it. Naturally, I’m at Joubert & Seuns Padtal. Situated on the N4 highway at a citrus farm first established in the 60’s that exports over 9,000 tons annually. From chilli sauce to jams, plenty of biltong hanging enticingly from the ceiling, ouma’s moist cookie, deez nights and piece, pies, pies, it was the freshly squeezed orange juice that I was after to allow me to once again find peace in the world. Its not secret that they are a fan favourite and I can tell why. Drinking their freshly squeezed orange juice—cold, pulpy, and straight from the tap, was like tasting sunshine in a bottle, the kind that makes you close your eyes and go “yoh, that’s lekker.” I would highly recommend checking out Joubert and Seuns for yourself. Make sure to visit HammyEats.Co.Za for all the best food plugs in Mzansi, and if this is not the best orange juice in South Africa, you need to let me know in the comments where I’m going next
