Jordan Ways of Cooking

I’m Nick Hamman, and if you’re craving some delicious ulusu, samp, and an all-round great time in Cape Town, you should pay a visit to Jordan Ways of Cooking in the township of Langa — which I did together with my friend and local plug Phumelele, along with his cousin and fellow tour guide.

On a cold, rainy night in the Mother City, we warmed up with chakalaka, chips, jexe, a mouth-watering meat platter with chicken and wors, a plate of umleqwa (hard body chicken), and of course, some pap.

This is a spot that knows exactly what it’s doing — and I’m told that on weekends, it brings a vibe like no other.
