Eastern Food Bazaar

I’m Nick Hamman, and today I’m exploring the world famous Eastern Food Bizarre in Cape Town South Africa.

Inside what used to be a fruit growers market, this narrow alleyway is a convenient food corridor offering kebabs, dosas, chicken tikkas masalas, curries and what I was here to try, a beef shwarma laffa together with chips.

Arriving just before closing on a Friday night, the wait was longer than I was expecting, but worth it. This lafa came loaded with onions, tomatoes and sauces and an overflowing amount of tender, well spiced beef shawarma. Juicy, a moderate kick and very filling.
