La inferno's Pizzeria Plattekloof (Halaal)

I’m Nick Hamman and if you’ve never had the pleasure of stuffing a pizza from La Infernos Pizzeria into your mouth-hole, you’re missing out.

This family-run spot in Plattekloof was born just after COVID and is run by Mischal, his wife, and the secret family recipes passed down from his mother. They’re Halaal, the restaurant is spotless, and you can watch your pizza being made right in front of you.

The menu goes beyond pizza too, with pastas, calzones and more, but the real secret weapon is their signature chilli sauce that deserves a place on everything.

My picks included the La Inferno with spicy prawns and avo, the La Funghi, a butter chicken curry mini calzone that completely blew me away, and their creamy La Cajun Pasta loaded with flavour.

With expansion and franchising already on the horizon, mark my words, La Infernos is going to become a household name.
