Uncle Harry’s Roadhouse

I’m Nick Hamman and I’m looking for the best Roadhouse in South Africa and since I started this search you guys have been practically screaming at me to go west and head to Harrys.

Uncle Harry’s Roadhouse is a legendary old-school drive-in spot in Randfontein, famous for its neon lights, classic fast food, and retro vibes. Open since 1974, I’ve been it’s where you go for proper greasy burgers, loaded fries, and a milkshake so thick you’ll break a straw. It’s got that “time stood still” charm, where bikers, families, and late-night munchie hunters all pull up for a bite.
Today I came to find out for myself and I am here to report that this is not one to miss. Indulgent, bigger than it needs to be and equally as tasty, my jumbo egg and bacon burger with cheese gave off strong, skip your next meal energy and was everything I’d hope to expect from a roadhouse.
