If you want to eat incredible Asian food in South Africa, you need to visit Rivonia in Gauteng. Catering to a decidedly Asian audience, with Korean, Cantonese, Sichuan, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, and more all on offer among the various eateries and shops.

Today we’ve found ourselves at One Bowl of Noodles inside Rivonia Central. This place is a gem and definitely worth a visit.

Nick went for Spicy Pork Noodles for R120. Diced pork, noodles, chili, spring onion, and bok choi in an aromatic, spicy broth

Sah had Chicken Fried Noodle also for R120. Onion, carrot, green pepper, cabbage, sprouts, egg noodles, and chicken cooked in sesame oil and soy sauce.

We also accidentally poured vinegar. I thought it was soy sauce onto the dumplings

They were R100 for 15 with mushrooms, carrot, cabbage, and rice noodles

The oolong tea was also super refreshing and worth trying
