Oriental Complex in Pretoria.

I’m Nick Hamman, and today I’m trying out chicken intestines on the braai on an adventure that’s sent me to the Oriental Complex in Pretoria. Shoutout to my good friend and fellow  foodie for the plug

The roadside spot, which is open from 6 to 5, also serves the rest of the chicken and chuck, but today I want intestines, which are cleaned by hand before being cooked in their own juices ready to serve together with pap and  vegetables for R40. To me, the intestines were chewy and salty, with a strong savory taste, and I’d recommend giving them a go.
