In a quieter part of town, this family-run joint, launched by the Lees 7 years ago, is the real deal. Youngook is the son-in-law who joined the Lee fam after they made the move to SA back in the Y2K days.

I dove into tradition with Chikhan Sikhye – a sweet rice delight, followed by the showstopper: Bulgogi Bibimbap! 🍚🍳 This dish came with a squad of Banchan superstars – egg rolls, homemade kimchi, and sprightly beansprouts.

Essentially a rice bowl loaded with veg, marinated meat (yup, beef!), a sunny-side-up egg, and heaps of Bibimbap sauce. 🌟
