I’m Nick Hamman and there’s a new hot pot spot in town you need to try, Bull Hot Pot in Rivonia, Johannesburg and here’s how to find it. This part of town is renowned for having excellent Chinese food, with speciality restaurants from regions of china that far extend the over commercialised takeaway options many are used to.
Run by a husband and wife couple, this newly opened space prides themselves on the quality of their meat with choice cuts coming in fresh daily from the butcher. The space is also catered to help those new to the world of hot pot, with clear instructions on how to make the dipping sauce and how long everything should be cooked for. I’d recommend splitting the pot between two kinds of broth and allowing the restaurant to help you order
