With a strong Asian influence this area is known for plenty of incredible food gems and this is a spot you definitely need to add to your list. Claiming to be South Africa’s most authentic Taiwanese food I came here for one of my all time favorite meals, beef noodle soup.

A red braised broth built on soy sauce, ginger, garlic, star anise and sometimes tomato simmered for hours until it’s dark and rich. Thick cuts of beef shank soft tender meaty and fatty. The noodles are wheat based thick and chewy designed to carry flavor. Bok choy spring onion and pickled mustard greens cut through with freshness and bite.

Here this magical masterpiece goes for R198. It’s plenty of food for a full hearty meal and in my opinion is guaranteed to leave you satisfied.
