I’m Nick Hamman and this might just be the best Kota in South Africa, it’s the last number that you can enjoy while taking in possibly the best view in Olrando at the spot of local entrepreneur Tshepo Makokoe, Streat & chill

With clear homage to history, this joint backs onto Phepeni High School, the gathering point of the class of 76 and has its own pizza oven, firing up 50cm bad boys you ‘ll never finish by yourself.

Tshepo is the owner of one of 200 businesses currently in the Kasipreneur Impact led by the Africa Management Institute, as a partner it makes me proud to see the work in action. The Kasipreneur Impact Project supports township entrepreneurs with practical business training, mentorship and tools to help them grow stronger, more sustainable businesses. It’s about backing local food entrepreneurs with the skills and support they need to attract more customers, run better operations and grow thriving businesses in the kasi economy.

This spot is epic and totally deserved your tastebuds. For the uninitiated a last number kota refers to the premium, fully loaded, best of the best, which naturally I went for and here they call it all that jazz and it sells for R140.

It’s a toasted quarter loaf of buttered white bread with spiced chips, polony, atchaar, vienna, cheese, Russian, beef patty, rib patty, ham and egg. This was a classic kota, paying tribute to the street food’s proud heritage, delicious, messy, indulgent

I would highly recommend trying out Streat & Chill for yourself and have left the details in the caption, but if its not the bets Kota in South Africa, I need you to let me know in the comments where I’m going next?
