Winter’s here in Mzansi, so I’m kicking off my search for the best Mogodu Monday in SA at Dijong in Naledi, Soweto.

A local favourite run by Boysie Sibisi’s family, Dijong serves all the kasi classics — chicken, liver, beef stew, pap, meaty bones and, of course, mala mogodu. The mogodu was clean, rich, tender and perfect with steaming hot pap. It’s going to be hard to beat.
