Platteland Diner

I’m Nick Hamman and I’m looking for the best padstall in South Africa as I travel the country with 5FM on my 8th Heritage tour and today I am in the Northern Cape in Kakemas, along the banks of the orange river at The Pienk Padstall. As the name suggests, everything here is pink from the shade nets to the rose quarts that surround the padstall. A padstall’s pies must in ham-law be delicious, and Pienk Padatall passes with flying colors. The Platteland Diner’s homemade mutton pie which Mrs Balls Chutney is what I would recommend ordering, while checking out the regional dates and raisins, chilli sauces, jams and books, washing it all down with a delicious strawberry milkshake. I’d Highly recommend saving this video and making a stop at The Pienk Padstall, but if it’s not the best padstall in South Africa, you need to let me know in the comments where I’m going next
