Danero's Kempston Stop

I’m Nick Hamman and if you’re looking to indulge in seriously awesome, affordable fast food you need to come to this hidden gem next to the BP Truck Stop alongside the N1 by the X off-ramp in Bloemfontein to try out Daneros.
Many Kovsies students will remember their branch near the university for quick, delicious hangover curing meals between classes, but today you need to come here if you want to try them out

Taking a locals recommendation I went for the chicken burger with chips for R56

With a wide variety to chose from including toasted sandwiches, Russians, curries, lamb and stews, I certainly wasn’t disappointed with what arrived on my plate

Inside the styrofoam box lay a greasy treasure that exceeded my expectations. A juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside deep fried chicken burger, with crisp lettuce, pickles and an indulgent amount of mayo. The chips were exactly as i was hoping they would be. These potatoes did not die in vain

This is a spot where you should come hungry, a frequently favourite of those in the know, like the truck drivers en route across South Africa in search of a hearty fill up before returning to the open road
