We were craving Italian Food in Johannesburg and found this gem in Norwood. Would definitely recommend checking it out. It was understated and affordable with a great selection of authentic Sicilian meals. The spot is called Cosa Nostra

I’m Nick Hamman and today I’m back with another epic suggestion of where to go and watch the game while eating some delicious food and hanging out with your mates and today's plug is in Greenside Johannesburg, Topo Gigio. I came here to watch Liverpool and Fulham ultimately tie 2 all in a thrilling draw at Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC in the Premier League. In celebration of The Reds I thought it only fitting to go for the Livers, which classically came together in a rich and creamy sauce, served together with fresh, toasted bread. I also grabbed an all time classic, chicken wings, together with blue cheese sauce. I would highly recommend adding Topo Gigio to your list of places to go and watch the game. Located just above the Zoo Lake Sports Club in Parkwood, Gioia is a predominantly Italian restaurant where I came to watch the Stormers ultimately win 29-10 to the Lions at Cape Town Stadium in their URC clash. If you come here, some recommendations to order have to include The Mozambican Pizza with chicken in a peri-peri, prego sauce, their famous chicken Prego which honestly stole the show, chicken wings, calamari and a banging steak with all the classic trimmings and sides you should expect. Standout moments in the game were Lion’s lock Ruben Schoeman picking up a red card for a poor ruck cleanout and The Stormers securing a bonus point win.
